is the epitome of the word “overrated”, but I didn’t feel this way immediately.

While standing away from everyone, on my own secluded piece of grass, the eiffel tower was….beautiful.
Then we got closer to the tower. And all around me I could just feel and hear the word “tourist”. Everything was geared to get us to throw euros at the stupidest things. Oh you want to go climb a leg of the tower to reach just about 500 feet up high? $15. You want to go to the top? $25. Oh are you craving a bag of chips? $5.
